Philip Slagter, "Montana 2011-current"

The current work has gone back to a similar form of abstraction from the earlier work from Los Angeles but instead of "mark making" and "gestures" i use recognizable images to create the abstraction. Again influenced by all the years of street, primitive, tribal art and geopolitical turmoil from my wandering around the world.
