Philip Slagter, "Thailand, 1991-1996"

After the purchase of over 300 pieces by the Regis Carlson Collection I left the United States to explore the world I had never seen, I ended up in Thailand. A magic place. I was able to explore any form of painting I wanted to. Freedom, not like the work expected of me by the LA art world. More work to come.
