Windmills of Denmark

My Great Grandmother and Great Grandfather came to America's famous entry port Ellis Island all the way from Denmark. They arrived in different boats at different times and met in the Midwest. Eventually they got married and started a homestead which would be the home of twelve kids one of them being my grandmother, a triplet. My great grandparents overnight went from having nine kids to twelve. As Solvang honors the rich culture of Denmark so do I honor my Danish heritage with these paintings of Windmills from all parts of Denmark.
