Paisaje Recurrente

My work is about landscapes, cityscapes, and the memories you carry away from those places. The scenery is subjective, inside the spectator. The landscape adheres technically to the proposal of the abstract expression. Often it is a place devoid of figurative elements, where one can move and travel emotionally and imaginatively. These journeys evoke an instinctive contemplation which is built upon with the colours and their different relationships and the constructions of different forms with the use of lines. I like to create a scene for introspection, constructing a place where we can take ourselves back to and explore.
