Periscope

"Periscope" drawings are of an intimate nature and call for closeness. A journal of moments, each drawing depicts the embodied narrative of the artist at that time: the inner, the outer, thoughts, memories, the world’s news, or the imaginary. Each drawing is understood as an open window to be entered, and interpreted by the viewer. “Periscope” drawings were made as a daily ritual during 18 months between 2019 and 2020, and as an ad-hoc ritual up to the present day. Different curated “Periscope” selections have been exhibited along the years, in solo and group exhibitions, in Zurich and in Madrid. They are also part of numerous private collections.
