Art is Nomad
How does life, its living power, pass through art? How does photography “bear” images? From the first graffiti of man, sculpted, drawn in the stone and preserved thanks to the darkness of the caves, up to the modern visual and also sonorous representations, what is at stake is still and always the vital experience as a fundamental theme of the whole art. Through the photographic language I seek this experience, trying to evade the habits of the gaze, the conventions associated with the perceptions, to allow the viewer of the photos to confirm it. I look for what Deleuze calls “Nomad Art”, that is the close vision for which the space contained in the images is not simply visual, but is above all tactile and even auditory space.
