Desert Moon

Desert Moon was created from content I collected during my travels through Arizona and Death Valley National park in California. I was inspired by the changing landscapes of the valley, and was fascinated by how so many diverse landscapes could occupy one place. The landscape and its qualities made me feel like a tiny being on a different planet. The moon added in each image represents the surreal feeling I had traveling through this area. Despite all the photos I took on the trip, only one place was used as a background to create multiple images forming this series. Using multiple exposures and digitally manipulating the landscape over and over, I explore how one place could have so many angles of beauty.
