Faces of my Heritage

This collection depicts the faces of my Indian heritage that I draw inspiration from to discern the "where" and the "who" to the "I". In the darkroom, the lines of these fictional portraits slowly appears to form faces of my mixed heritage - it's a magical cameraless process used to create modern photograms. What you see, however, aren't merely faces - they're the intangible meanings and cultural stories to the past, a multifaceted present and an understanding of the future self in the making.
