Gulf Coast Seascapes
It’s all about finding the lines, those gradients of blue and green giving way to white and tan. When the water changes depth it changes color. That creates a line. When the ocean meets the shore, wether it is by a beach, forest or condominium, that creates a line. It is Mediterranean turquoise in Panama City, emerald green off the shores of Destin, tea colored around the banks of the Mississippi and slate blue in Texas. Everything is fleeting; Sand bars create blocks of yellow and brown that last as long as the tide. A boat or bird creates a surprise speck of white. All of these experiences come together to create landscapes that are both hypnotic and serene.
