Lost Souls

A series of blurred images derived from a HURTS concert. The accidental images resulted into a theme of 'phantasmagorical apparitions'. The figures express the ever-changing imagery of movement through dance. At face value the style becomes close to Francis Bacon's own, and the figures reminiscent to those in Goya's 'Los Caprichos'. The 'Blue Room' stands on its own and beneath it these dancing figures perform. Lost Souls refers to the novel by Poppy Z Brite.
