Lost

“Lost” depicts a wanderer finding himself alone in an Otherworld. This world is similar to ours yet unfamiliar, and unsettling despite its beauty. This is a world wherein to see the darkness that lurks within. A world shaped by fears, insecurities, and preconceived notions of ourselves. I am intrigued by how our experiences in life are so individual and how they bias the way in which we perceive the world and our present situation, creating an internal vision that can be difficult to escape. The Otherworld is a world of our own making which becomes very real to us, blinding us to reality. We become lost and consumed and disconnected from reality. The danger is when we do not even realise it.
