ROOTS: PEOPLE OF OMO VALLEY

Ethiopia’s Omo Valley is a wondrous place in our world. For centuries, the people in the valley were completely unaffected by the outside world. Today, they continue to uphold their traditions and preserve their way of life with great pride and dedication. When first arriving in Omo valley It was like I stepped into another world. The beautiful, mesmerizing people were so different from anyone I had ever met before and yet, it didn't take long to connect. We accepted each other as we were and learned to see ourselves in each other.
