Birth of Venus, used prolifically in the European Renaissance there is an increase in the use of myth in a re-construction of the many realities and interpretations that this myth contributes. Venus is a complex mythological character, worshiped and vilified equally, with characteristics attributed by the subjective interpretations of the moment, while Venus becomes a protective symbol materialized in temples, such as the one that Caesar erected under the invocation of the mother goddess.
