The passage of time

I have an intense fascination with the life of a subject, rather than it's stillness. It is this place of wonder from which I began to create this body of work. Flowers are a very popular subject for artists of all mediums. I wanted to portray them differently though. I wanted to somehow capture their life. That intangible, often invisible cycle a flower moves through in it's short time on the earth. I wanted to depict the poetry of the blooms.
