Urban Goblins
My creative interest responds to unconventional gazes and I look for answers to my concerns regarding the relationship with objects in everyday life, for this reason in this work that I call Urban Goblins, I use as a reference the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi that focuses on appreciating the beauty of imperfect, modest and humble things.
In this photographic project, my vision is contrasted with the characteristic beauty of the modernist image of the 70's. This is my way of representing the vestiges of the arrival of organized urbanism and progress in the cities of Margarita Island.
In current times, fire hydrants have become urban goblins, and they are only seen by those who open their eyes to the unusual.
