Waynedale

Waynedale was originally an independent small town, but in 1957 it was absorbed by the city of Fort Wayne, Indiana's second largest city. Despite being part of Fort Wayne longer than it was a small town, Waynedale still looks and feels like a small town. The only chain stores are a Walgreens and a Kroger. Everything else is locally owned. I grew up in Waynedale, and still live there in the house where my mother grew up. My parents still live in the house where I grew up, just around the block from there.
