Portraits

Portraits have been part of our history since ancient times. They were used as love references by kings and queens, as memories for loved ones. Every portrait can make us understand how the person was feeling, the light and shadows that helped to give an expression to the painting can help us visualize a small fragment of the past of that person. Portraits are generally focusing the face or a predominant pose and trying to get the exact expression to capture the emotional state of the portrayed. All the portraits in this collection have the purpose of taking you to the moment the portrayed is living, with the same shades of light and the atmosphere that inspired me to get that small capture in time.
