Pretenders

My work is a translation of the continuous hypocrisy of societies – the feeling of deterioration that surrounds us … morphed into images. This deterioration is in fact not a natural procedure but a declining state caused by years of hypocrisy. Our tendency is to become increasingly more untruthful – not only consciously but also unconsciously: we lie to our family, we lie to our colleagues, we lie to ourselves. Our culture is one of liars. We are no longer looking for the true sense of relationships or the realistic root of our problems; instead we use lies to create more desirable states of mind. As always in my work I do not look for violent outbursts of ideas or feelings. My goal is to establish an one to one communication
