Johann Nußbächer was known for a long time mainly as a graphic artist. This is not because the graphics in his work is actually the focus. Painting and, for several years, drawing have, as far as the significance in his work is concerned, ranked as equally important and at times also as priority areas of creation. But as a printmaker, Nussbächer has had the most impact on the public.
