Echo

A unique and abstract series designed to encourage visual exploration through recycled elements, collage and acrylic painting techniques. My creative process starts with selecting old paintings and my idea is to cut them into small pieces to transform them into a collage on canvas. Once the collage is done, I add some touches of acrylic paint to even out the painting and add extra depth. I try to communicate my vision by playing with the repetition of forms, rearranging and redefining them through color and collage. My works are made to capture the audience's attention first with composition, to then discover up close an abstract work that uses recycled elements.
