"Rethought"

The series of portraits was painted a year ago. (2019) Cut and stitched in 2020. Now this series is called "Rethought" and is completed. The inspiration for the portraits was Emotion and Feeling. I just wanted to show the psychic reflections of the people who brighten our faces so brightly. But emotions come from somewhere, they are a consequence of something. Our fears, complexes, desires, expectations, priorities, our idols and demons. Emotions are just a foam of prepared coffee. And the cup is not full with it. So what needs to be shown is deeper. It turned out to be much more difficult and interesting. Now every emotion is rethought, every interpretation is replayed, a new, more important subtext is embedded in each painting.
