Rock garden
Rock garden (枯山水, karesansui) or "dry landscape" garden, often called a zen gardens They were intended to imitate the intimate essence of nature, not its actual appearance, and to serve as an aid to meditation about the true meaning of existence.
The rock garden is a symbol of freedom, boundless expanses, the perfection of nature, grace in simplicity.
Typically, a rock garden is a flat area, most of which is covered with sand or small pebbles. The main element is, at first glance, groups of uncouth stones randomly located on it. The surface of the garden is the ocean, and the stones are islands.
