The Equilibrium (Deco)

In The Equilibrium Series, Hudson explores balance, symmetry and harmony in his typical post-painterly minimalist style. Experimentation with positive and negative space are common in his work. In this particular set of prints Hudson juxtaposes two vastly different movements in the history of art and design; Minimalism and Rococo comparing and toying with them, opening each piece to the viewers own interpretations on decoration, pop art and pattern.
