The Unscene Face

In this modern digital age we often feel that we can create anything that has gone before on our computers. I am a culprit of this philosophy. Sometimes however it simply just isn't true. In 1998 I curated my one and only exhibition (The Unscene Face). A body of work created on Kodak High Speed Infrared film - a film that can be "sort of" mimicked digitally but NEVER equaled. The nudes you see before you were taken over 30 years ago - on a film that is no longer made - a film that was SO hard to use (and it's grain like Golf Balls) most photographers avoided it. I was 21 years old and cocky. It was a labour of love but I still feel it stands tall even all these years later.
