The Wait

"The Wait" is a complex web of reflections that asserts the will not to surrender in the face of the unchanging nature of time and of a space conceived as an "oppressive container" of everyday life. It is a conceptual photograph where each shot presents itself as a theatrical drama in which the observer can identify and interpret their own role in the scene. The low contrast of the images and the expressive poses of the subject seem to be metaphors of enchantment, mystery, and curiosity about what may be hidden within a physicality that waits to be liberated, despite its vulnerability.
