WOMEN SERIES

In January of year two of the pandemic I had back surgery and as I adjusted to my new body my interest in painting women was inspired. My work had previously been focused on still life and landscape and faces, but months later back before my easel my focus changed to a women’s body and is what I present here. I am a a colorist, that has not changed, nor the whimsical nature of the work. My hope would be those viewing my work will observe work that is true and believable — not only beautiful, but also intelligent. 1I have been painting for many years and my work is the sum of all that I am.
