There are several sources of inspiration in my work that give rise to two recurring themes.
The first theme is the urban, industrial port in Buenos Aires, where I was born. In my paintings, the waterfronts have become elusive, abstract landscapes that help me evoke the memories of my youth.
The natural world and its deterioration as a result of human intervention or the passage of time is the source of the second recurring theme. After careful observations made outdoors, I paint landscapes that combine the natural world I have seen with imaginary elements.
My work on each piece evolves from impulsive brushstrokes that form an abstract composition. As the painting builds, indefinite forms emerge. I gradually integrate these forms
