Blossom Collage

Armfuls of vibrant, sweet smelling, colorful flowers on a day filled with the promise of spring. A bronze background adds a striking, warm note against bold red, hot pink, orange and white. A bright pink wallpaper blossom adds a funky touch. This work has two sets of D rings and wire for your choice of vertical or horizontal hanging (see in situ images). The pattern continues around all sides so there is no need to frame. On the back you will find my signature, initials, title and year. It is registered on the NRAA (National Registry for Australian artists) .The work comes with details of the registration and a Certificate of Authenticity. THE CIRCLES COLLECTION A fascination for circles and a love of retro design led to this collection of works that combine the fun and the funky with colorful pops of color and pattern. These upbeat paintings are filled with an eye catching proliferation of this most friendly of shapes. I paint on surfaces which allow for the subsequent removal of the paint when dry. It is a slow process of squeezing paint into circles that then take up to a week to dry. Hundreds are needed in their dried state before being layered and glued onto their support. An individual work in progress resembles an assembly line and takes up an inordinate amount of paint.
