Alex Labsin was born in 1980 in a small town in Russia. His father was a military man, so their family was constantly on the road to the garrisons. Frequent change of friends, brought up love for loneliness and independence. At the age of 19 he entered the Saratov Art School. Having finished it, he became disillusioned with education. At 23, he did not understand what it meant to be an artist and did not know who he wanted to become. So he went into design. For 15 years he was engaged in design, having developed professional skills for himself, which undoubtedly came in handy in creativity. He won various design competitions. For example, his pride was the victory and the prize for the conceptual project "Schizophrenia", which included music in the style of John Cage and an animated game site. But engaging in creativity constantly attracted. In 2015 he became interested in the poster. Participated in various exhibitions and competitions. For example, in 2017 in the Golden Bee Biennale, in the “1917-2017” nomination, two of his posters were presented. Gradually, his poster turns into abstract digital art. It was an outlet for commercial design. In 2020, Alex decides to leave design and become an artist.
