Contact us.I am a self-taught artist and still consider myself a student as I still have a lot to learn about abstract art and now with photography.
2026 – I have a new journey with photography and so far, i love it. It is very new to me, and I see it as a challenge. I am looking forward to this new adventure. What I capture through my eyes on this new journey, you will too.
2017 - I initiated my paintings in 2017 by using my weekends to paint. Before painting, I was really into my DIY home projects. I have refurnished antique furniture, kitchen cabinets doors, kitchen countertops, and painted my house inside and out. I have plastered my own sheetrock walls and among other missions I have completed I have used a saw cutter, jig saw, table saw and drills.
I have decided to use what I have learned from my DIY projects and put towards my art. I have learned from other artists who were so generous to share their experiences and education on videos. I continue to view these videos from artists around the world, including Alberto Burri, Robert Burridge, and Nicholas Wilton. I purchased a few books that indulged in my learning experience as well. Some includes ‘Movements in Modern Art’ by Debra Bricker Balken, ‘Abstract Art’ by Anna Moszynska and the ‘Acrylic Artist’s Bible’ from Marylin Scott.
I enjoy the energies I put towards my paintings. My energies can originate from how my evenings are spent, ideas I just thought about or music I listen to which includes, Hillsong Worship, Enya, or beautiful voices of songs I can find on YouTube. My paintings have become a pleasant journey, and it has been a learning experience for me.
The experience of working with acrylic, markers, tissue, ripped up canvas, fabric, and other goodies I incorporate into my art has given me quite enjoyment. You will find plaster and compound tape on some of my paintings as it is a custom for me to use. No matter how much I try to put my plaster knife away, it always ends back into my art supplies.
At the beginning of my journey, I started giving my paintings away to whomever would say to me, “Oh wow, that’s a beautiful painting”! Then I recently started selling my paintings to local friends, their friends, and acquaintances. I now decided to sell my paintings with Saatchi Art in hoping you will enjoy my paintings as others have, including myself. The prices of my paintings will fluctuate throughout the month.
