Tras más de 20 años trabajando como diseñador gráfico e infografísta, inicio desde 2018 mi camino como artista plástico. Empleo tanto técnicas tradicionales como digitales. Actualmente trabajo la técnica del collage, con obras realizadas exclusivamente a partir de recortes de revistas destinadas al reciclado y cola. Un trabajo manual detallado que construye, recorte a recorte, un retrato, un paisaje, una escena. “Pintar con recortes", los papeles se superponen como pinceladas, el azar juega un papel importante dado que no empleo más que el material disponible en el proceso creativo, sin recurrir a otras opciones. Ya sea recortado, rasgado, con tijera, cuchilla o a mano, la composición surge fresca, espontánea y en mucha ocasiones, hasta el título aparece con la lectura de un titular, una frase, una palabra impresa. El tema principal de mi obra es el realismo fantástico, ficción retrofuturista en la línea del movimiento Steampunk, la ucronía o la ciencia ficción especulativa, temas que me acompañan desde la juventud. El viaje, el misterio, el descubrimiento, el vuelo libre de la imaginación.
