ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Original acrylic/collage painting on paper. The background is an abstract acrylic painting, upon which I collaged acrylic painted paper pieces. The papers pieces were drawn, painted and cut from a fiction novel, so bits of text and numbers can be seen through some of the paint. The collage elements are reminiscent of snowflakes in a snow globe. I love the vibrancy of the blue sky background, as it make me feel a sense of winter calm upon a clear day.
