The Encaustic Fine Art Original comes from a series called the Seaweed Sculptures. It was inspired by the magical dance of the oceans gardens and the Chihuly glass sculptures. The color and depth found in both of these worlds creations was the fuel for this series. Seaweed contains all major and minor plant nutrients, and all trace elements; alginic acid; vitamins; auxins; at least two gibberellins; and antibiotics. It is a perfect fertilizer for soil, and metaphorically it inspires abundant new beginnings. The Ho'oponopono Prayer and Hado work were used in the creation of this pieces for their energetic vibrations. Ho'oponopono means to make right. Essentially, it means to make it right with the ancestors, or to make right with the people with whom you have relationships. We call this the Hawaiian Code of Forgiveness, and it's an important thought, because when we forgive others, who are we forgiving? Ourselves of course. Blue Lapis, amethyst, quartz, pearl and jade were also used for their energetic properties along with seashells, quartz, geodes and amethyst.
