We are Mauri and Andrea, an artist duo whose practice reimagines mosaic as a contemporary art form. Based on the Gold Coast, Australia, our work transforms fragments of glass, ceramic and stone into luminous compositions that speak of memory, resilience and belonging. Our pieces explore the dialogue between tradition and innovation, often drawing from cultural narratives, natural landscapes and modernist influences. Each artwork is both tactile and luminous – a reflection on how fragments can come together to create wholeness. Through our practice, we seek to create spaces of contemplation and connection, where art becomes not only an object, but a shared experience.
