About The Artwork
My artistic practice is grounded in aesthetics of existence in a commercial society. I am interested in social critical themes like gender identity, fashion trends, political and social relations and ecology. Employing images and narratives that are embedded in the collective cultural imagination I create new conditions for interpretation. The conflicts and taboos in the society I am representing with irony and sarcasm. My works are implemented in different Medias and techniques such as paintings, photographs, objects or site specific installations.
