About The Artwork

Acrylic, texture paste, silver potal, butterfly, epoxy resin. Mikhail Bulgakov is an outstanding personality, on a global scale. His novel "The Master and Margarita" is recognized in the West as one of the best novels of the XX century. In 2021, Bulgakov turned 130 years old. His father was a theologian and church historian, and his mother taught French. Bulgakov chose for himself a serious profession of a doctor. During the First World War and the Civil War, the future writer worked in hospitals. In the early 1920s, Mikhail moved to Moscow and became a journalist. In the same years, Bulgakov's recognizable style was formed: a bow tie, a monocle and a three-piece suit. Bulgakov, was in strained relations with the new government. His works caused strong fears, so his plays were almost constantly banned. In 1937, Bulgakov was on the phone with Stalin. It is known that Stalin watched his play "The Days of the Turbins" 15 or 20 times (!!!). Bulgakov wrote a novel for a long time, which was started back in 1929. The original version (according to the writer's own definition, "a novel about the devil") it was destroyed by him in 1930. In 1934, the first full version of the text was created, which received the title Master and Margarita in 1937. At this time, Bulgakov was already terminally ill, he dictated some chapters of the novel to his wife, Elena. The work on the novel was completed in February 1940, a month before the writer's death. The novel was published only in 1966. The writer died at the age of 49. Grave grave of Bulgakov is buried at the Novodevichy Cemetery, on his grave, a tombstone from the grave of N. V. Gogol, which will later be called "Golgotha", is installed. In my work, I "sewed" the writer's jacket from drafts of the novel "The Master and Margarita" and posters of his theatrical productions. A bow tie with a dog print (the novel "The Heart of a Dog"). The cat Behemoth and Margarita are present in the work. Many readers appreciate the author's work "for a special talent to combine the real and the fantastic", as well as for philosophical reflections and a subtle understanding of human vices. "People are like people. They love money… Well, frivolous… In general, they resemble the former ones... the housing issue only spoiled them... " (M. Bulgakov. "The Master and Margarita". Chapter 12) The picture does not require additional design in a baguette, it can be immediately hung on the wall.

Hello! I was born and live in Siberia. The weather is severe and the people are serious, with a big heart, here. The soul that hides under the many roles, masks, and costumes we wear has wonderful virtues. From birth, we are all creators, you just have to try! And of course, we can learn! On the second university degree, I am a psychologist. Psychology helped me to understand myself. It seems to me that it helped me to look and see, to listen and hear, to follow my own feelings! After all, psychology and art are a dialogue of understanding. My new story has just begun! All that was before remained in the past seasons of this beautiful series "Such a wonderful life". I worked in serious structures, but I was always engaged in creativity. At some point, I realized that I just can't be doing without it… This is the case when you do your own thing, not even because you want to, but simply because you can't not be doing it. And in every picture – a piece of me, my love for life, my inner colours, shades and halftones. I make them in the language of the soul, I make them with my hands, I feel their smells in me, I think about them, even when I sleep, I feel their taste on my lips! This is happiness! And I want to share this happiness with you! All my works are full of energy that you will definitely feel, full of a smile that (I know for sure) will appear on your lips! In 2021 I created a series of works "BURDEN", which is united by my heroes. All of them are successful, they had great influence on art, on our hearts, on time. But at the same time, they all lost so much (or deliberately sacrificed) on their way. I wanted to show that it is impossible to do something truly significant, without paying for it! And under the external beauty there are often many more different colors and shades. All my works are multi-layered and multi-valued. They are filled with meanings that are not always noticeable at first glance. Put the picture at a different angle to the light, let the sun illuminate it differently - and you will see what was invisible at first! It can be an inscription on the edge of the canvas, or a material and technique that gives a link to something important. I prefer using the Mixed Media technique in my work. To work in mixed media is to have the freedom to use different materials and sometimes combine the incompatible.
