Made of Chaos Collage

I'm a visual artist who graduated in Philosophy. I have been painting since I was a child. Born in 1981 not far from Como Lake, now I live and work in Milan. I have always been interested in the human sphere. I mainly paint with acrylic on canvas mixed with organic materials. In my work I tell about the disquietude and loneliness of the individual in contemporary society. I believe art, in all its forms, is capable of restoring a relationship with ourselves, bringing people closer to each other, as well as closer to themselves, to discover inner places that may be still unexplored. Painting for me is a way to preserve my identity. I approach a canvas driven by a feeling of urgency. Something inside must be taken outside, and reassembled on canvas. While I'm working, I get in connection with the “magic” of this unknown who also belongs to me. I let myself be overwhelmed by this ecstasy that takes place in contact with materials, through their smell and their surface. Since the reality in which we are immersed is not always favorable to them, when I am on the path I walk it with a certain respect. When unexplored inner places emerge in a conversation of different colours and materials, things can also be quite different from how they look at first glance.
