I’m offering for sale a romantic diptych [two pieces], individually framed but meant to be displayed side by side, thus forming the diptych. I worked using very old real Chopin’s nocturnes scores or partitura. He’s one of my favourite composers! I followed using mythological figures and hearts and cuts made of oil painted linen canvas. I meant to create art which could bring together these two different worlds that are part of my heart: music and painting. Besides, Orpheus sings and Ulysses travels, and both because of love. The two are exactly the same dimensions, collage area 4” x 4”. Off white mat and framed in solid honey coloured natural wood, reaching 10.75” x 10.75” each. Frame width is 6/8”. They are mounted under glass and come ready to hang using a metallic piece installed on the back. They will be carefully and professionally packed, with special attention to the frames and glass. I recommend to hang them a minimum of 2” apart. You will never regret your choice, they are unique pieces and form a beautiful pair. They will look lovely in any room in your home or office/practice.

Myriam O is a multi talented artist of Chilean, Turkish, Portuguese and German descent, painter, performer and writer. Her fondest childhood memories are those of attending the opera and turning the pages of art and museum books. She is a passionate interpreter of jazz standards and Latin songs, then, painting was kept somewhat on hold, however greatly missed for in painting she finds a much-sought world of silence. Thus, she decided to devote herself equally to both disciplines, a decision she has never regretted for her artistic endeavour became more fulfilling and complete. Her paintings are in private collections in Chile, UK, USA, Denmark, Malta and France. In 2015-16, she was selected to participate The Mdina Cathedral Contemporary Art Biennale, in Malta, representing her natal country. Also in Malta, and invited by CARAVAN —non profit organization focused in peace building through the Arts between the creeds and cultures of the East and West— she participated in the exhibition "Mediterranean Peace Donkey". She was then welcomed by Raven Art Society gallery and later by Johnson's Gallery both in Battersea, London UK. She participated in numerous collective exhibitions while living in Chile. “I am a sentimental artist. When painting, blending what I see, how I feel and what I want is mostly a spiritual experience, a prayer in solitude, lovingly and joyfully carried. I feel painting is a journey through the longings of the heart and the windmills of the mind, just as life itself. Oil remains my preferred medium; it is romantic, melancholy and infinite. And yet, I'm not afraid of experiencing other media such as collage or even going digital, for the images I see in my mind seek to be brought to reality in different ways". “Since Oct. 2019 when riots, looting and charring stroke Chile, I became a columnist for a digital women's magazine and a newspaper. I took the chance to illustrate some of my columns with collage artworks. “During the pandemic days, I was invited along with other fellow artists to express ourselves in CARAVAN's new blog. Later, in 2021 she held a successful solo show in one of the most sought after art centers in Santiago (Corporación Cultural de Las Condes), just before relocating in a small village in France where she currently enjoys a peaceful and tranquil life, far from violence and crime. Today, she’s preparing a new solo show.
