ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My abstracted cityscapes have been a constant theme in my work over the years. I have lived in Philadelphia, New York and and in San Francisco.The buildings have such character. San Francisco I have found is more full of color than I remember New York to be. Here I use painted papers, collaged and applied over a loose watery wash of color with touches of graphite to finish. Collage on canvas with edges painted. Unframed and wired ready for hanging.
