About The Artwork
This piece is part of a body of work called Stories Half Told. Most pieces in this series depict individual people in different life situations. This piece represents a human journey, infinite possibilities for any person. To make this piece, I collected all the red and white fabric scraps I could find and created a red rowboat which I put onto the white background, representing the water and sky blending together. The piece is machine sewn.
