About The Artwork
This work was born when I was observing how toys were packaged. In particular I was touched by a small one, that was clearly for girls, pink and with this writing: Smile now. Thought it is looks as a positive message, it sounds to me ambiguous; it is an imperative, we well know it, when you are a child, expecially a girl, parents ask to you to be nice and smile, even if you don't feel. So the pink color and this sentence are referred to investigate women stereotypes in social codes.
