About The Artwork

Artist’s name: Martine Mooijenkind. Title of artwork: sweet sweet summer Materials : Collage on paper. Date created: Size :17x21,5 cm Lila had always dreamed of visiting the apple hotel. She had seen pictures of it in magazines and online, but nothing could compare to the real thing. She had saved up for years to afford the trip, and now she was finally here. She checked in at the reception, where a friendly staff member gave her a key card and a map of the hotel. She took the elevator to her room, which was located in the upper part of the apple. She opened the door and gasped. The room was spacious and elegant, with a large window overlooking the cosmic sky. She could see stars, planets, and a nebula in the distance. She felt like she was in a fairy tale. She unpacked her suitcase and changed into her swimsuit. She wanted to explore the hotel and enjoy its amenities. She headed to the pool, which was in the lower part of the apple. She walked through the tropical gardens, admiring the exotic plants and flowers. She saw a butterfly fluttering by, and followed it with her eyes. It landed on a nearby flower, and she smiled. She felt a sense of wonder and joy. She reached the pool, which was surrounded by palm trees and sun loungers. She dipped her toes in the water, which was warm and inviting. She decided to swim a few laps, and then relax on a lounger. She looked up at the sky, and felt a surge of gratitude. She was living her dream. She was at the apple hotel.
