It's an attempt of comprehension what was the XX century through the prysm of a russian/soviet culture and history. This piece is arranged like a palimpsest. A dark past peeps through the fresh layers (of historical eras). It becomes clear that basically nothing has changed and the past still defines the present. It was my reaction to 100th anniversary of October Revolution.
