Limited Edition Prints A series of A6 collages were created on numerous bus and train journeys, different destinations to and from work and sometimes at work (while no one was looking). An old red diary was filled up with scraps of old and recycled prints which have been pasted together in new configurations. We limited ourselves to black, white or red and resulted with over 100 images spanning less than a year (2009). The results were scanned in and uploaded onto a site called Artfellas. Once completed, we decided to take the collage aspect further, by digitally manipulating and cutting and pasting the previous body of work (digital collages of paper collages). We had been posting daily on 'Artfellas' since December 1st 2011 and completed the cycle on 31st. These images took the form of digital variations of previous imagery, deconstructed and remoulded......into something fresh. The entire sequence was deleted on New Years Day. This is one of the uploaded images.

Jairo Zaldua and Nicola Green create imagery together through the mediums of digital, silkscreen, linocut, collage and three dimensional art. From found objects (wood, scrap metal and old Victorian doors) to site specific installation and interactive performance, they have sought to free the medium of printmaking from its usual conventions and bring it to greater life. Our present work provides a platform for our fascination with: (i) alternating mental states as depicted in literature and the arts (ii) the boundary between what is real and imagined (iii) interacting with communities to provide expressive and immersive experiences (iv) the exploration of combining digital, silkscreen and collage to compliment our ongoing projects All our projects are interlinked and continue to progress and expand over the duration of time.
