This work also belongs to my new Eco-friendly concept "Second Life". The art made of natural flowers and leaves. Everything that is going to die in couple of days, weeks I'm giving "Second Life" and probably immortality... Making each work is the whole story. I travel a lot to collect all this natural materials, some rare species i buy as well. Than is long process of herbarium, I dry each of them with my secret methods to keep their color and texture forever. Plants are fixed on thin wooden cardboard with various glues. In this work is also used acrylic in upper part of horizon (sky). This work is breathing, it's airy and vast. Something from our dreams, with transparent trees, where you can see amazing texture. The work has high quality frame and glass to protect from dust. Even though it may be shipped without glass ( less wait) and adjusted on place.

My name is Nani Potskhverashvili. I'm an artist from Georgia, I run my own gallery and workshop in Tbilisi. I'm an artist with academical painting background, using several mixed techniques. One of them can be bravely called my invention " Second Life" - Nature that is going to die in several days, weeks, I'm giving chance on Second Life, and probably gifting them immortality. I'm creating paintings of various themes: portrait, still life, abstract, landscape with natural flowers and leaves. Using about 200 of verities of plants from around the world. I'm traveling a lot selecting and making herbariums beforehand. My technique saves their colors and structures for a long years, oldest one I own is 17 years old, still as colorful as newly finished. Making works with this technique takes much more time and effort than my works made of oil, acrylic or other materials.
