The artist's work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Working in figurative, semi-narrative, cinematic and similar representational modes, his work first embraced Surrealist tropes in an attempt to transcend literal, concrete meaning and more recently his work has been informed by concepts of Dada, theater of the absurd, the nonsensical, nothingness perhaps related to cultural and social aspects within our current society and the world we find ourselves in the twenty-first century whereby the works attempt to confront, raise questions, or to quietly subvert the comfortable areas of orthodoxy prevalent in society and history. The artist born and raised in upstate NY. He lives and works in Albany NY.
