ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The materials I have to hand inspire the works. I used a discarded vintage book cover as my canvas and applied strong modern paper shapes in neon colours. There is something interesting about how contemporary and vintage materials sit together. The decay and dark muted tones against bright sharp shapes are visually exciting to me. Each shape is hand cut. Signed and titled on the front. Dated on the back. All artworks incorporate vintage elements so should be handled with care.
