About The Artwork
The artwork is an assemblage work, made of mirror pieces, glue, paper, documents of Katerina's Gogou poems and blood. It took the First Price in the International Biennial Exhibition of collage and assemblage IV Memorial of “Jovan Markovic – Kameni”, in 2009 in Belgrade. Katerina Gogou (1940-1993) was of Greece’s greatest anarchist poetess who's work remains the bete-noire of modern poetry in Greece.
