Achievement N2-Painted Ladies, San Francisco USA 1998/2013 Artwork

My artistic approach consists of superimposing two shots taken several years apart, without any premeditation of the plastic work that would one day result from it. My photographs are silver in 1998, digital from 2013. These achievements are the result of highlighting a fact: why do we make the same trips, do we reproduce the same scenes, the same postures. I don't have the answer but this look at my own experience as a traveler will surely influence my next photographs, consciously or not. .My creations represent a work on the passage of time but which also shows us that certain things are immutable. From a technical point of view, my creative approach is always the same. The most recent photograph overlays the oldest at 50% opacity. I tried to crop my shots as little as possible, but they weren't always proportional and I had to make choices, as with the canvas prints. Wanting to accentuate the surreal side of the scene, I also saturated the color at 50%. This series was produced in February 2022. Canvas prints are limited to 10 per size. Each print is provided with its certificate of authenticity.
