Albert Einstein had reservations about certain aspects of quantum mechanics, particularly his disbelief in particle entanglement. Driven by his commitment to determinism and locality, he rejected the probabilistic nature of quantum mechanics and sought hidden variables to explain particle behavior. Einstein famously described entanglement as "spooky action at a distance," struggling to accept the instantaneous influence of separated but entangled particles. Subsequent experiments, including Bell tests, have supported the existence of entanglement. Einstein's views have sparked ongoing debates but have also contributed significantly to our understanding of the intricate quantum realm.

I am Luxembourg-born scientific illustrator and artist living in Hanover, Germany. For a couple of decades I was a copywriter for Honeywell Bull, Nokia and Siemens. Then I slowly slipped into computer graphics. I specialized in illustrating molecules and fullerenes for a long time. In 1988 I received a recognition of the Prix Ars Electronica for my graphic "Funnel". In 2023 I started doing AI illustrations. I live together with my partner Elke Leger, my favorite photo subject, and a turtle named George.
